Gardens with a panoramic view of Rome and the Piazza del Popolo.

Overlooking the Piazza del Popolo, the Pincio gardens are the gateway to the Villa Borghese. Designed by Giuseppe Valadier on the small hill of the same name during the Napoleonic occupation, they are covered with oaks, umbrella pines and palm trees. Beware, it's a bit of a climb to get there! But once you reach the top, you're quickly rewarded with a panoramic view of Rome and the Piazza del Popolo from the belvedere. It's particularly appreciated at the end of the day, when the sun is setting.

Entre la villa Medicis d'un côté et la vue sur la piazza del popolo le jardin vaut vraiment le coup d'œil

The best terrace of Rome. You can climb from villa medici and then rest in the reopened casina valadier or rent a bike or a risciò to go around.
