Zoological garden with buildings of great historical interest in Rome.
The zoo, located to the north of the park, is unique. It was inaugurated in 1911. The buildings on display are of rare beauty and great historical interest. The aviary, built in 1935 by the architect De Vico, is particularly noteworthy. Ideal for children who can observe more than 200 animal species (mammals, birds, reptiles) and plant varieties from Mediterranean and exotic areas. Admire the entrance gate to the garden, with its lion and elephant shaped statues.

It is a very old zoological garden who se name has been changed to bioparco just to get the green party happy without understanding that the Zoo can play an important role to Save specie in danger and educate the People to love animals.
