The square is lined with some of the most important monuments of Rome.

Around this busy crossroads, you'll find many must-see monuments, including the Capitol, Palazzo Venezia and the church of Santa Maria d'Aracoeli. But above all, the square is dominated by the monumental Vittoriano, dedicated to Victor-Emmanuel II, King of Italy after the unification of the country.

You'll notice that Piazza Venezia is currently the site of major construction work for the new C metro station. According to the latest estimates, this work will take between 8 and 10 years.

La place en elle-même est surtout un grand carrefour où il faut faire attention de ne pas se faire renverser ! en revanche elle est le passage obligé pour partir à la découverte des nombreux sites qu'elle dessert

La Piazza Venezia est un endroit incontournable et vous ne pourrait faire autrement que de la fouler si vous vous rendez à Rome, car c'est ici que ce trouve l'entrée du Forum et c'est également ici que se dresse le Palais Vittorio Emmanuele.

Big square dominated by The vittoriano and palazzo Venezia. You have to imagine mussolini talking about the start of the Second world war to The crowd from a balcony in palazzo Venezia. Campidoglio and fori imperiali have Access to that too
