One of the mythical streets of Rome, emblematic of the dolce vita of the 1960s.
It is one of the mythical streets of Rome, emblematic of the dolce vita of the 1960s. There are luxury hotels, period cafés and a few shops. Via Vittorio Veneto (named after an Italian victory over the Austrians in 1918) was traced in the centre of a district created in the park of the Ludovisi estate. Only the Casino Ludovisi, decorated by Guerchin, remains of this property. Via Veneto starts from Piazza Barberini and then climbs up to the ramparts of Aurelian, which open out through Porta Pinciana onto the park of Villa Borghese.
