Située non loin de la station ferroviaire principale de Rome, c'est une place agréable, certes moins connues que d'autres, mais qui mérite que l'on s'y arrête, notamment pour son obélisque. Juste au dessus de cette place, on aperçoit le chevet de la basilique Sainte-Marie-Majeure.
