Ruins of ancient Roman houses under the Valentini Palace in Rome.
Ruins of ancient Roman houses have been discovered beneath Palazzo Valentini. Having been uncovered and preserved, they are now accessible for a journey from Antiquity to the Middle Ages. It is presumed that these houses belonged to senators, who had them decorated with mosaics and moldings that are still visible. The visit is rich in projections and led by an audio recording: these interesting technological supports were updated in 2023.
