Every weekend, the Mercato Campagna Amica, a stone's throw from the Circo Massimo, showcases the very best of Lazio's produce. Local farmers, all members of Coldiretti (the Italian farmers' association), come to sell their produce (cheeses, cured meats, fruit and vegetables, honey...). It's also the ideal place to enjoy a plate of pasta or a porchetta sandwich in the large courtyard of the halles, which transforms into a lively canteen! On Sundays, you'll need to arrive early to find a table!
