This ice-cream parlour and patisserie delights the inhabitants of the Monti district with its Sicilian sweets. In addition to the ice creams, the island's cakes are also very popular:cassata siciliana, cioccolato di Modica, pasticini di mandorla... made with almonds and ricotta, this is a culinary voyage in itself! As all this is very sweet, and you can't always over-indulge in the good stuff (and in Italy, that's much harder than elsewhere!), miniature versions are also available. Another in Rome, via Labicana 126/128, not far from the Colosseum.
