MUSEO ARCHEOLOGICO TUSCANESE
Museum preserving the remains discovered in the necropolises around Tuscania.
North of Tuscania, the Renaissance Benedictine church of Santa Maria del Riposo has been converted into a museum. The remains discovered in the necropolises around Tuscania are gathered here. They are a precious testimony of the habits and customs of the Etruscans between the 4th and 3rd centuries B.C.; upon reservation, it will be possible to visit the Tomba della Regina, a tomb in an excellent state of preservation only a few kilometers from Tuscania.
