Since 2009, Mandoline brings a bit of the Mediterranean to the heart of the Design District. The change of scenery begins when you enter this 1940 house, white with blue shutters. You can enjoy a simple but tasty cuisine based on recipes from Turkish and Greek grandmothers, all fed by a nearby organic garden. Note that the prices are quite high for what it is. But what could be more pleasant than tasting sumptuous octopus tentacles in olive oil or a good feta cheese in a sheltered and flowery garden?
