On the Coconut Grove marina, this restaurant opened in 1969 and was founded by Monty himself, a native of Key West. His restaurant is renowned for its Caesar salads (the best in town), grilled shrimp and other fish and seafood specialties. Outside, the adjoining bar hosts a live band that plays from Monday to Thursday in the late afternoon. On weekends, the DJ is there! Enjoy it during happy hour! Monty's will undoubtedly be familiar to TV series fans since it appeared in Miami Vice.
