What a hotel! Massive, staff who don’t care, except for Ariana the concierge. A room with 2 beds but only 1 chair. I had to battle my way through the noisy entrance area to get to a very unhelpful reception. Never again!

The hotel is beautiful. I am staying here with my husband, so the room is under his name ( Boris K) and we travel here every year. However, the service is getting worse and worse. This time hotel hosts event and it’s a huge mess cause there are lots of people, they blocked area nearby swimming pool and you cannot get to the restrooms using the fastest route cause you are in swimsuit and not part of event, it’s almost impossible to get table in the restaurant here because that event blocked it as well. And unfortunately every time we are here, something goes wrong. December 2023 elevators did not work properly for a week, stopping on every floor etc. the reason why we come here, cause swimming pool is nice and hotel has access to the beach however I am not sure if I want to come back here again.

This place is worth it. It's right on the beach, the rooms are primo, and it's a short uber or bike ride to all the places you want to go to in Miami Beach. You will not regret it

When you come to a resort you wanna feel taken care of. The entire time I was there felt like it was lacking room and service. We needed a special key to get into our room which took 45 min to make. There was a fight in the lobby which was incredibly bloodily! My massage was all knuckles and elbows which made me feel at a Chinese foot spa. Our room on a Saturday night in a suite was echoing construction for the convention on Monday. Wouldn’t come back wouldn’t ever record to a friend, stay away!

Hotel is a hit or miss, some staff are friendly and others are rude. My girlfriend was using the bathroom when one of the staff said rude remarks. Manager was quick to come and talk about it but it ruined our trip. Room was okay it’s a hotel room basic things. Resort fee of $47 which includes a beach chair. No umbrella.
Valet parking, the valet guys are clueless when it comes to parking exotic cars. My keys were misplaced and it took hours trying to find it.

Famous old school hotel with a great bar and pool area. Easy access to beach. It needs renovation and investment in remodeling lobby, horrible elevators. Liv is in lobby which is cool. Very expensive food and drinks, bring your platinum card. Lots of good looking people walking around.

Such a disappointment.

Poor location. To give future tourists a suggestion, the most tourist place in Miami is south beach's ocean drive. This hotel is 1hr walk from there. Like many others have said, there is no restaurants or convenience stores within walking range. You are restricted to the hotel's overpriced options.

Poor staff and room. Keep in mind this is a 5 star hotel. Upon check-in we were not given info like when is checkout time, what facilities the hotel has. We thought it's in the room, no it's not anywhere. We were told we only need wrist bands on weekends, but turns out wee need them all the time. Otherwise the guards treat you like a thief. Please is a word that don't exist in their world. I've never heard it during my stay. We asked the girl next to the pool about how to getting to the restaurant la cote and she told us just show our room card to the guards since we are just going through the pool area. We walked 3 ft and told the guard the same thing, and he, with a sunglass and cold face, said: "Get a wrist band there. Doesn't matter." It seems we were just given a lot of contradictory information and no one knows how things work there.
There is no coffee machine in the room, no water station on any floor, no free water, no bathrobes. Mini bar menu barcode is broken link. Mini ar has no price. In room dinning has no menu and doesn't deliver for restaurants in the hotel.
Last but not least, window is so dirty and everything we see through it is gray. Couldn't even get a good picture.

Uncomfortable atmosphere. I don't know how others feel, but there are constantly groups of people wearing suits, gowns, for the bar and even conferences around me in the hotel lobby while I'm wearing swimsuits. This just kills the vibe for me. Feels like I'm at the wrong place.

Deceptive room types. In other places, Oceanview faces the ocean, and partial ocean view and city view are self explanatory. In here, ocean front is what faces the ocean and ocean view is partial ocean view.

Beautiful location and property. The regular rooms are so so and super expensive. To say you stayed at this iconic hotel is definitely worth something. The ocean and pools are beautiful

Day1 - Saturday
1. We arrived Easter weekend 2 elevator were out and we could not get to our room, a huge issue as my husband gets claustrophobic in crowded elevators.
2. It's hard to get loungers - first come first serve but staff are great at assisting you - be proactive and connect with staff strength away.
3. Safety & Maintenance - The handle in the jacuzzi pool was broken and a huge liability. I reported it after hitting my toe. I reported it as kids and adults were struggling to get in and out the pool.
4. Outdoor dining area is great but closes at 6pm sharp. Note all restaurants include 20%tips (drinks are more expensive than new York bars ????)
5. You have to pay for the beach umbrellas $26????

So far the experience has been ok but it’s too early to say.

Day 2 - Sunday

1. Make the post of the pool and the beach!

2. Security needs to be better in the evening and at night!

Day 4

The banana ride is fun and the staff that manage that area were great and ran a smooth operation. Spots fill quick - turn up at 11am to reserve your spot.

Day 5

Unfortunately, when relaxing by the pool area just before the end of the evening with my family at 9:30 a group of young men wondered around the pool area and one was high as a kite followed by a group of other young men with one filming and the other shouting crude insults as he tried to engage. There was one security person on duty by the pool area and we mentioned the suspicious group. We heard one person peeing on the footbridge before entering back into the hotel and we’re a fraid to walking back into the hotel through the normal entrance. we asked the Italian restaurant to let us in through the lower level doors so we could avoid them. And I was surprised security did not escort them to their room or out the hotel. It's surprising because there is so much security during the day. There was less visibility which is concerning. I reported the incident to security in the bar area in the main lobby. What bothers me is that there are kids and teens walking around in the evening thinking it’s safe which it really wasn’t this evening.

Final day - lounger issues again it’s Wed. Final day full day of vacation and Angle’ is the lounge attendant walked over to the loungers we held and told us to move away awful obnoxious, unprofessional and cold. I asked to speak to the supervisor Gabel who had a professional approach. We ended up in Raul section by the Jacuzzi.

It’s a stressful lottery game with the loungers and most of the seating does not face the pool unless you’re vip.

Our experience has been mixed and I’m not sure I would recommend this hotel.

I am writing this in such gratitude! My partner and I originally booked to stay here but our first night we bee lined straight out of this over priced dumpster to the Ritz south beach (AMAZING). The room was dirty, the bed felt like a cinder block with a diaper on. The bed board had questionable stains and the TV was mounted on the side which could cause severe neck trauma. If you are young like 20, blacked out and on drugs then you probably won’t mind staying here. If you are a little older and care about your sanity and health then don’t. Let the odds forever be in your favor which ever you choose.

On March 30, 2024 I went to the spa at the fountaine bleau in Miami Beach for a 9 am massage appointment. After the massage I went to the steam room, the spa pool etc. Then I went to Cote restaurant for lunch. After this I went to pick up my car from the valet. Not only did it take a very long time to get my car but when the valet came to get me and told me my car was there… they also told me they could not find my fab key for my Audi Q5. Several valet workers looked everywhere in my car for the key . The front the back seat the hatch back trunk. They couldn’t find the key and my car wouldn’t start. After waiting for everyone to look for my key. David Kronk, the customer service manager came to me and apologized and said they are trying to figure out what to do. They said we are certain the key is in the car. However, he and more valet workers kept looking for my fab key and couldn’t find the key. I told them I had to go back home because my dog had been put away since 8 am that morning and I had an extra fab key at my house. They agreed to let me Uber back home to get my key then Uber back to the hotel so that I could get my car. David Kronk and Frantzy Francois assured me they would reimburse me for the Uber expenses and they would furnish a new fab for my car. The last I heard from Frantzy was April 2, 2024. Saying they we’re looking into the situation. I have written both David and Frantzy several emails since then and have not heard back from them. Basically, they don’t care that there workers lost my key and I had to spend extra time and money to get my extra spare key from my home so that I could get my car. It truly a big shame that such a beautiful hotel can have such poor quality customer care. They have basically damaged my property and they do not care. I would absolutely not recommend anybody going to this hotel unless you do not care if something gets stolen, damaged or basically if somehow the hotel and its employees does wrong by you. There are many other nice hotels in Miami Beach with very nice spa’s. I’m still waiting to see if they do what’s right by me. If not I will be seeking legal counsel. B

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to hear constant, extremely loud dance club music with air raid sirens all day long. Not only could I not escape it anywhere in the pool area but it was just as loud in my 12th floor ocean view room. You will not enjoy one second of peace and quiet. This is what I would expect on a $199 Carnival cruise full of kids on Spring break but not for the nearly $4,000 this long weekend cost me. I spoke to the hotel manager and she basically shrugged and said it's a nightclub/dayclub environment. Nowhere on the website is that disclosed. She said she could move me to another room but A) not until my last night here and B) she showed me the room on the map and I don't think it will be any quieter. I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE.

We spent the day at the glow bar. Which we pre paid for before going. It was very expensive, but heard it was a must do. When we were settling up our bill our server put through the full charge again onto one of the girls credit cards which was $1284.00. she did say she voided the transaction but she DID NOT. My friend was charged the full amount again. So we ended up paying for it twice. We have made numerous complaints about this and have gotten no resolution. You would think with such a brand and reputation, that they would want to help resolve this. Very disappointed.

We had the most fantastic room. The views were astounding. The ocean was on one balcony and Miami on the other balcony. The room was a suite with a separate bedroom and the kitchen had a stove full refrigerator, microwave and a washer and dryer. The bathroom had a spa. The restaurants were 5 star restaurants. The grounds and pools were beautiful and you hang out at the beach. Which was right there.

I booked a penthouse room here for my 25th birthday trip planned for June. Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts I had to cancel my trip recently. The refund policy on this was absolutely ridiculous despite me cancelling over two months in advance… I was only offered a 50% refund and tried to ask for full and was offered 60% not including a $400 service fee. Keep in mind this was a very expensive trip and room. Looks like my 25th birthday is ruined before it even starts and also looks like I will NEVER stay here.

Worst Hotel I have ever experienced. By all means.. STAY AWAY from Fontaine Bleau! I am not even trying to be funny when I say this, you can get a much better experience at a 3 star hotel with better amenities and friendlier staff than what this 5 star hotel claims to be. You can literally spend $0 and have more fun than trying to do a fancy itinerary. Ain't nothing about this hotel is 5 star at all. Just because you have a big vicinity with luxury items does not make you 5 star. Terrible Management and Poor Communication.

I came here on my birthday excited. I booked through VRBO with a host. We did get there a bit late around 1AM. When we got there, we had to check in, then after that do valet parking. When I checked in, they stated it was a $200 refundable security deposit. Later on, you will find out that about $150 goes towards the cleaning fee plus tax and you probably get about $14 back. This was not mentioned AT ALL by the receptionist when we first checked in. All she said was a $200 REFUNDABLE security deposit.

When someone checks in to your hotel, you need to make sure your staff is very clear with what a guest is paying for. All I was told was that it was a refundable security deposit of $200 that I would get back in 2 business days.

So, I pay the refundable security deposit of $200 and get back to the car. We are trying to find the valet parking for the Tresor hotel. We ask the staff on site where it was. It was a nightmare trying to find it. We had a party of 4 and went in circles for 30 minutes trying to find it only to just end up back to where we started. We were given directions to follow streets and look for bridges to get to the valet parking. No clear and concise directions so we could get there reasonably. I went ahead and called Fontaine Bleau while we were in the car. Tell me why, I didn't know but its a call center.

When I asked the agent on the phone how to get to the Tresor Hotel valet parking, and that we were going in circles for 30 minutes, and that if there are any clear directions or address we could put in a GPS to get there sooner.. tell me why this agent is literally reading a script, and is laughing in the background. I am asking very specific questions and each time I ask I get hit with "Rest assured..." along with the street names and where you see the bridge and NO directions whatsoever on "turn left here" and "Turn right there".
You need to have signs on where these valet parkings are. It's so hard to find it especially at night. There is no reason my friends and I should be trying to find parking for over 30 minutes.

Our friends in the back pointed the way so we finally get to valet parking... on VRBO it says parking is FREE. When we get there, I ask the lady do I need to pay anything for parking. She tells me to not worry about it.
We make it inside the hotel, it was nice I will give you that.
Next day time for check out.
My checkout was at 11am but we were still allowed to do other activities there according to the host. We needed a bellhop to come and get our stuff. I call the bellhop, and they have an attitude on the phone not sure why. The bellhop comes around 10am like we requested. Friendly, nothing wrong here.

When we reach the lower floor to get our items from the bellhop, tell me why they don't have a tag on which cart has our stuff. The staff member asked is there anything that stands out to know which stuff is ours...
Why not just have tags around the actual cart with the hotel room number and name/contact on it so we don't have to go through all that trouble. That would be common sense in my opinion. On top of that, they put our stuff on the ground OUTSIDE!
Two friends stay with the bellhop items while me and the friend who drove go get the car in valet. Tell me why... they said I owe a $70 parking. When VRBO says free parking and lady from yesterday told me not to worry about it.

We had to get a manager to waive it off. While that was happening, I found out that a guest was given the wrong car at valet. Valet gave THEIR car to someone else.

Never again.
