THE SHEPLEY HOTEL
Hotel a few blocks from the beach, with a friendly welcome, with a terrace facing Collins Avenue, offering rooms
Step inside this Art Deco showcase designed by New York architect Henry Hohauser in 1937. The intimate lobby has retained its original floor and the furniture is a perfect blend of vintage and contemporary. The 35 rooms of this boutique hotel have a soft and elegant atmosphere. The reception is very friendly, and the self-service kitchen, very chic with its SMEG refrigerator, allows you to make a tea or coffee to enjoy on the terrace facing Collins Avenue. The beach is two blocks away, so don't hesitate to ask the concierge for a beach chair and towel!

The staff was great very helpful and the breakfast each day was a bonus especially when you want to have a coffee on their front patio as the sun comes up. There are plenty of local eateries. Super convenient was Walgreens across the way to grab any loose ends. Overall not a place for a week long stay but if you want a SOBE vibe for the weekend definitely check in to check it out.
