LIFE HOUSE LITTLE HAVANA
An air of travel floats over this boutique-hotel in the heart of the Cuban district. We love the rootfop with a view of Downtown.
Because Miami is more than just South Beach, staying in the Cuban Quarter is a great idea! Inside this imposing pink 1920s mansion, natural materials and ochre tones dominate; the shelves are filled with objects that seem to have been brought back from distant trips. This atmosphere is found in all 33 rooms and reaches its climax on the green roof top with its incredible view of Downtown. In the morning, you may hear a rooster crowing. The self check-in / check-out is well thought out and the Calle Ocho is a 10 minute walk away.

Biggest concern was the nightclub - La Terras on the fourth floor (open rooftop). The acoustics and noise level were deafening and extremely disruptive if you wanted to sleep anytime before midnight on the weekend !
No soundproofing whatsoever. The bass could be heard thumping throughout the hotel on every single floor.
I would not recommend this hotel for anybody who wishes to sleep at a reasonable time.
When management was informed, their response seemed to indicate that liquor sales from the nightclub were more important than the comfort of the registered guests.
