Hotel with swimming pool, rooms with Patagonian wood furniture and Mediterranean cuisine

This hotel, opening in 2019 in the heart of South Beach, takes its place in an Art Deco setting: four interconnected buildings built in 1936 by architect Russell Pancoast. The Lennox replaces the original Peter Miller Hotel, as indicated by the retro lettered sign still visible on the façade. We appreciate the natural atmosphere of the 119 rooms, highlighted by the Patagonian wood furniture. The pool is an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the hotel. The Amalia restaurant offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine made with fresh products.

Great location and Rooms. Nice pool. They charge an extra "resort tax" even if you dont use the pool neither the beach.... quite unfair and an unpleasant discover at checkout. The hotel seems always a little bit understaffed. Very nice bathroom and shower.

Honestly super disappointed for a “luxury hotel” they couldn’t even check us in on time, our too. That was off of the pool had no deadbolt/chain lock when other rooms did, they did install it but as men they don’t actually understand safety and how they installed it my BF was able to break in. Which they also promised security would make extra rounds since we had no real secondary lock, yah no one noticed my BF breaking into the room. Food at the restaurant all is pretty bland if you are going to eat there do breakfast only. I have felt after at extended stay hotels then here. Over all very disappointing in my experience with this hotel.

From the moment I stepped foot into the lobby, I was met with an air of indifference from the staff. The receptionist, in particular, was incredibly curt and seemed utterly disinterested in assisting me with even the simplest of inquiries.

Throughout my stay, I found the staff to be consistently unhelpful and downright rude. Whether it was asking for extra towels or requesting information about local attractions, I was met with nothing but disdain and impatience. It's as if they viewed every guest as an inconvenience rather than a valued patron.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise against staying at The Lennox Hotel if you value even a modicum of hospitality and professionalism. The staff's attitude alone is enough to ruin any semblance of a pleasant stay.
