A very good value for money for this hotel with swimming pool and direct access to the beach. The rooms are comfortable with cable TV, board and iron and safe. The swimming pool is really pleasant, large but not too much, and so surrounded by palm trees that the atmosphere is almost intimate. Here you can enjoy a pleasant cocktail with a good cocktail prepared by a bartender from the Pikilia restaurant. And when you want to go on the hot sand of Miami Beach, nothing easier: right behind the swimming pool, after the portal is the beach. In short, this is a very good address!

I wanted to like this place, but it's death by a thousand cuts for me.

The good: The location has beach access, which was a big plus for me. Lot of reviews seem to have had issues with the staff but that wasn't the case for me. Every interaction I had with staff was positive. Beach towels are provided with a card you get at check-in. Just make sure to get that card back when you return your towel. Rooms were also very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Water tastes ok and the hot water works fine. There is also a free trolley service nearby as well.

The Bad: Dining options are very limited. My room had a kitchen but if you plan on using it there are a lot of basic things you won't have. There is no dishsoap, coffee filters, sponges, papertowel, napkins, salt, pepper and sugar. There is a dishwasher but they only provide two pods. Towels are also rationed very heavily here. I stayed at some sketchy places that still managed to provide more towels than this place did. Our room was also right next to a heavy door to the stairs, which would make a huge bang every time someone used it. There is a little playground in the courtyard I would not recommend letting your kids play on. I saw a piece of the equipment just sitting on the floor the whole time I was here. I'm guessing it was to keep the play equipment stable because I clearly could see it leaning towards that broken peice.

The Ugly: There is a lot of ugly here. I mean a lot. Don't let some of the photos fool you. The carpet in our rooms were vacuumed, but stains were easily visible everywhere. Everything felt like I was staying at a resort in the Eastern Bloc. A lot of work needs to be done to this building and rooms in general.

Beds are very squeaky and not comfortable— caved in and could feel the springs on one side. The property needs a lot of TLC. Nice beach— and swimming in the ocean. Umbrella rentals are $20 a day. Parking is $40. a day. Elevators were extremely slow— ended up using the service elevator most of the time. I was repeatedly told at the pool that I was allowed one towel a day— which seems odd to me— most hotels/resorts let you use an umbrella and trade in towels if you go to the beach again. The pool was small. Beach location was nice— but far from any restaurants/activities— must have a car.

I found a giant hairball on my toilet seat when we arrived and gum stuck to the nightstand. My husband would give the hotel a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating— it wasn’t terrible— but it wasn’t great.
