A very good address for small budgets that still want to live in South Beach and more on Collins Avenue near the beach and on both night and daytime animation. The hotel has a swimming pool, an internet point, a vending machine, a large kitchen with three refrigerators where everyone can come and prepare their meals. The rooms are relatively spacious and clean. The address also has its own tour agency.

Good location, you will have to carry your own bags, limited front desk help, large clean pool, the room was clean. An los building with some upgrades , good for the money.

Lovely stay at this property and great location next to all of South beach restaurants, nightlight life, ocean drive and the beach of course !!

Tropics is a quaint little hotel with a 50s flair. It's right at the heart of South Beach, near every restaurant, bakery and bar you can think of from Cuban to Mediterranean. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was perfect, the view from the room was great, the smart TV was handy to stay in during the rain watching movies. There is a shared kitchen - which I didnt use, except for the microwave. The pool is pretty big. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, I felt SAFE as a solo female traveler, which was worth more than what I paid for... I walked 5 minutes to the beach a block away after getting some coffee, and then walked most of Ocean Dr. before coming back to rest or do work on my laptop. Will definitely return!

We stayed during November 18-22, 2023. The room and bathroom were renovated, clean and with all necessities. All people from reception were really attentive and communicative with us, especially Jorge and another guy. They were really helpful for information. The hotel is one street away from Ocean drive and the beach, really near from restaurants, and clubs. Miami was great, because the accommodation was comfortable. Thank you.
