PELICAN HOTEL
Opened for more than years, the Pelican has been slowly named one of South Beach's busiest addresses, especially since it was taken over by the famous Diesel brand (its president has a luxurious penthouse on the roof). This Art Deco building owes its success to its originality: Each of the 30 rooms has an unreal name and an extravagant decoration, which is carefully filled in detail. From the Linker Girl with her disco furniture, at the Best Whorehouse with her soft atmosphere, the Swedish decorator responsible for this funny and warm setting has decorated all the elements. The rooms are generally small but they are very comfortable. Those who give on Ocean Drive are a bit noisy. The beach is right in front of the hotel, with sun loungers, parasols and towels available free of charge.

EDIT: They put a $300 hold on your card at check in. I used a debit card. The hold never fell off. I contacted them (yes, I can show this) but no one ever helped me or even reached out for that matter.
Buyer Beware ????
