A theater in the heart of Little Havana, the Cuban neighborhood. The plays, modern or classical, are in Spanish. Total immersion!
A neighborhood theater located on Calle Ocho where Spanish-language troupes perform modern plays and classics. It promotes and publicizes Hispanic culture and showcases local, national and international artists. Every year for more than thirty years and for nearly three weeks, Teatro Avante hosts the Miami International Hispanic Theatre Festival (in July). This is an opportunity to discover new works and practice your Spanish!
