Founded in 1888, La Tropical was originally one of the oldest breweries in Cuba. After falling into oblivion in the 1960s due to the political context in Cuba, it was taken over in 1998 by Manny Portuondo, great-great-grandson of its founder Federico Kohly. In 2021, encouraged by the success of his brewery, he chose to install La Tropical in Miami, in the Wynwood district. In a lush garden, you can enjoy a beer (of course!) accompanied by tapas and small dishes of Cuban inspiration. It is also possible to visit the brewery.
