Zoo Miami is the largest zoo in Florida and one of the five largest in America at 120 acres. You can meet more than 3,000 animals, including white tigers, mongooses from southern Africa, Komodo dragons and koalas. Florida's unique climate allows for a wide variety of animals. The zoo also offers pedal boat tours on the lake, a carousel, a water attraction and a streetcar safari (extra charge). The monorail is a must for easy access to the site.
