An old-fashioned live arts center hosting theater and music performances by artists from all over the world
Built in 1935 on the iconic Lincoln Road, the Colony Theater was originally a movie theater before becoming a performing arts center. After a $6.5 million renovation, it has been bluffly restored to its former style and its beautiful, sleek, Art Deco storefront. Since 2016, the Colony Theater has been hosting the Miami New Drama company's theater and music shows featuring American, Latin American and international artists.
