THE BASS MUSEUM OF ART
A very interesting international contemporary art museum that offers current exhibitions and off-site works.
Housed in an Art Deco building from the 1930s that was extended in 2017, the Bass Museum devotes a large part of its collection to international contemporary art. For example, the exhibition The Willfulness of Objects brings together works that have in common the use of recycled or transformed objects. The themes of the temporary exhibitions change every 4 to 6 months. Some of the works can be seen outside the walls, such as the 12-metre-high sculpture Miami Mountain , created by Ugo Rondinone and installed in Collins Park.
