Family museum gathering a collection of no less than 7,200 works by contemporary artists active between 1975 and today
The Rubell family began assembling their art collection in New York in 1965 before moving it to Miami in 1993 and presenting it to the public the following year. Today, their collection is one of the most important in the world with as many as 7,200 works by more than 1,000 contemporary artists active between 1975 and the present. As of 2019, the museum has moved to a larger space allowing them to offer over 300 works from their collection. Take the opportunity to sample the cuisine of Chef Mikel Goikolea at Leku Restaurant.
