BOCA CHITA KEY
The most visited island with a 20 m high lighthouse, a trail and a campsite for a little escape in the middle of nature
Boca Chita Key is home to a lighthouse built by Mark Honeywell, one of the first owners of the place in the 1930s. The lighthouse is 20 meters high and is opened intermittently depending on the personnel present on the island. From the top of the lighthouse you have a magnificent view of the island and the Miami skyline. There is also a trail of about 500 meters, for a small escape in the middle of nature. If you want to extend the experience, you can sleep in the campsite overlooking the waterfront. Boca Chita Key is the most visited island in Bicayne National Park.
