Charming Victorian mansion with a green front featuring 4 different style rooms in Pensacola
This charming green-fronted Victorian home, built in 1892, has been beautifully restored. The 4 rooms of different styles will please travelers looking for comfort and authenticity. Chuck and Barbee Major, the owners, are particularly welcoming. For the little anecdote, Barbee was a great friend of Captain Cousteau! The breakfast prepared by Barbee and the homemade cookies offered all day long are a real treat.

We had such an amazing stay. We got to enjoy a little history and the most amazing hospitality - from the great breakfast to great conversations with Ms.Barbee. We will definitely return and of course recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for something a bit more like home.
The second was with the room . The Victoria room does not have a bathroom attached. It is across the house. There is only paper sign on the door that it is only for the Victoria room so you have to hope no one else uses it while you are there. My biggest problem with this is those midnight bathroom trips. I did not see this stated anywhere before booking this room because I would not have booked it!
I asked to switch rooms when another one became available and was denied. The breakfast was tasty but there was no hope of getting more than you were served and the drinks/soda offered was generic. I dropped something on the floor and went down to pick it up and noticed an inch of dust on the floor under the bed.
This is the first bread and breakfast I have ever stayed in. I’m not sure I would ever go back to one but I was told they not all like this.
