Frenchman Yann Guyonic has founded an Airbnb-like French concierge service that helps tourists stay in apartments or houses while visiting the theme parks and the Orlando area. For the price of a hotel room, it offers three to four bedroom accommodations. All of the 120 or so accommodations they offer have access to a pool! And if you are a homeowner, you can of course rent your property through him.

Brilliant home and stay.
Unfortunately trying to get the 500 USD security deposit back is IMPOSSIBLE. It was taken on 21st January and I checked out on 4th February.
Three weeks later still no refund of the deposit despite two emails which have been ignored.
Dispute unfortunately opened with Amex
I’ve had over 15 villas in Florida and never waited more than a few days for a deposit release or have at least had the courtesy of a response.

As a property owner, you should avoid this management company at all costs. Terrible at marketing, failed to rent my condo which had a 85% occupancy rating even once in 6 months. New company has rented it 6 times in the month since they took over. Horizon refuses to refund my deposit and won’t return my calls or emails. Very unprofessional operation. Do not recommend doing business with this scam of a company.

Be Aware! We booked a condo in VA through VRBO that is owned by Horizon Vacation Homes. A week or so before we arrived, the owner of the property "forced" me to use a link outside of the VRBO platform to pay the balance that was owed on the unit. If I had not done that, we would have lost a place to stay as well as 50% of the total. I made the payment after several calls trying to figure out another way and then they double charged me. Several more calls and a week later, I got a refund for the double charge. We arrive at the unit around 8:00pm - the unit is less than expected. Doorknobs barely hanging on the bathroom doors, old milk in the refrigerator, nasty coffee pot, bug carcasses in middle of floor, less than clean tub with mildew in the caulk, shower curtain rod kept falling down, laundry left in the dryer and very uncomfortable beds that had no box springs and very thin mattresses. We get up to take showers the next morning and there is no hot water. We check the water heater and it has no power - call Horizon - they assure us they will send someone out. A few hours later we call VRBO, they tell us they will call owners and ask us to give them 5 hours. We get back to the condo around 8 pm, no hot water (and it was in the low 50's at night - the water was very cold!) - no one had been in unit to check it. Again, I call VRBO and they say they will contact the owners again - the owner says they will resolve the issue. Many, many calls to owner and VRBO - lots of promises from the Horizon office that they were working on getting someone to come look at the water heater - no one ever came. Horizon never followed up with us on their own either - all info from them was from me initiating the calls even though they would tell me every time I called that they would get back with me by the end of the day.

We checked out a week ago, I have requested a refund from the owners - the office staff keeps telling me they have let the "managers" know, but they cannot do anything without their authorization and they have not heard back from their managers. It seems to me that a week after checkout is more than enough time for the managers to respond.
