Albin Polasek (1879-1965) was one of the most illustrious American sculptors of the 20th century, working on figurative figures and portraits with great sensitivity. In his retirement, he settled in Winter Park and built his house, the Capen-Showalter House, which he gradually let the public discover. 200 works of sculpture, painting and drawing belong to the foundation. In addition to the subtlety of the works, the setting is very pleasant.
