Important city museum offering a collection of African art, Native American artifacts and temporary exhibitions
One of the most important museums in the city. One collection is dedicated to African art: we discover wooden masks, fabrics, statuettes from countries such as the Ivory Coast or the Democratic Republic of Congo. Another section presents objects from the American Indians, including many terracotta objects, painted vases, statuettes... Finally, a last section deals with American art before and after 1945, presenting some of the country's major artists. The temporary exhibitions deal with many different themes related to art in general.
