This 20 meter high lighthouse, built in 1839, is considered the oldest building on the island.
Considered the oldest building on the island, this 20 meter high lighthouse built in 1839 is a pure marvel. It is also the oldest lighthouse in Florida still in service. It allows you to observe up to 15 miles (24 km) at sea. On Saturdays, you can walk around the foot of the lighthouse, but it is necessary to sign up for the guided tour (first and third Wednesday of the month) to enter the sentinel. Please note that it is not possible to climb to the top. The bus to the lighthouse leaves the Atlantic Recreation Center at 10:00 am.
