A recently modernized bus network allows easy travel across the city. Taxis are served regularly in the city centre from 6 am to 19 pm. The Riverside Avenue Trolley (US $ 1,50) starts from downtown and runs across the river to FSCJ Campus through The Shoppes of Avondale shopping district. Those wishing to go to the beach from the city centre can take the Beaches Trolley (US $ 1,50). Since 2014, a trolley at night, the Riverside Avondale Night trolley (US $ 1,50) has entered service. It operates all the first weekends of the month from 18 a. m. to 2 p. m. and serves residential districts with the following stops: Park & King, the Shoppes of Avondale, the Brewery District, Stockton & College and St. Johns Village.
