The location is idyllic with its tree-lined patio, rocking chairs and balconies. The 19 rooms are cozy and the decor is authentic. Here, hospitality is an art: at 5pm, you will taste local wines before walking to dinner in town. When you return, a brazier awaits you to roast marshmallows. As for the homemade breakfast, it changes every morning. A real incentive to slow down.

All of the staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to lead you in the right direction for fun. And their breakfasts options! While I was there they offered a multitude of breakfast options from authentic Spanish dishes down to a bowl of cereal if you want something simple. But their french toast was something else. Like a french toast deep dish casserole. Amazing! And the icing on the cake, all guest are offered a load of complimentary amenities like, free parking in their private lot, a discount rate into the oldest house exhibit, free entry into St. Augustine lighthouse and 5-6pm social hour where they offer their guests a variety of free drinks. If you are planning a visit to St. Augustine I highly recommend spending a few nights at the St. Francis B&B.
