The location is idyllic with its tree-lined patio, rocking chairs and balconies. The 19 rooms are cozy and the decor is authentic. Here, hospitality is an art: at 5pm, you will taste local wines before walking to dinner in town. When you return, a brazier awaits you to roast marshmallows. As for the homemade breakfast, it changes every morning. A real incentive to slow down.

I was traveling solo and spent three nights here in November. What a great experience! Walking distance to almost everything significant in St. Augustine, great historical charm, friendly hard-working staff, wonderful breakfasts, and even time to re-connect with the owner from years past when our professional careers crossed and caught up with his life and family. Couldn't have asked for a more ideal vacation. I met several patrons who had been here multiple times, and I can see why. Highly recommended!

Outstanding is the best way to describe the St Francis Inn. We brought my service dog, Honeysuckle Rose, who was kindly greeted by the entire staff Our room, Marie's Room, was very comfortable and I had easy access to the courtyard and main area. We stayed 3 nights and would love to have stayed longer. Kudos to everyone at the St Francis Inn. Kathleen Brosenne
