Accommodations can be quite expensive in St. Augustine and you won't find many cheap hotels in the downtown area. So the good plan is to stay on the other side of the Bridge of Lions, a 5-minute drive away. The Local Inn is a nice renovated motel with a retro look, highly Instagrammable, run by the super Leïla. The rooms are comfortable. St. Augustine Beach is a 5 minute drive away, and you can also relax in the pool. It's a ghost hotel, which means it's self check in: you open the room with your smartphone.
