To start, I wanted to change a date of bus ticket, and this, about 1:00 having bought it on the Internet. They did not want to refund me and I have to go to the station (because they can do nothing on the telephone) and moreover, to spend $20 for change.
Wi-Fi and amenities:
They say that they have the service of Wi-Fi while they do not have practice it in any of their bus.
Moreover, there are two types of bus; a very " cheap" and the other one normal. In that " cheap" there is no Wi-Fi, nor plogist load cellular then the good luck when you have 5-10 hours to do.
Hours and trips:
horrible!!!! There is no choice of hours and journeys are all but practice. It has been lost much time during a trip! Example: I wanted to Marble in Lake Louise and they made me through Edmonton, Calgary and Banff! That took 14:00 However, Brewster (another company) on the itinerary of direct what I heard spoken.
Delays:
One of the buses arrived 45 minutes from delay, which has to take the bus from transit and stresa everyone. In fact things get, I am not with the current if that often happens so yes but it is very stressful and unpleasant.
Restaurants:
When I travel, I do not expect to eat at home. But I ready to say food in Cuba in the 4* is better than in the Greyhound stations. Fried meat and frozen, grey sauce cafe and I save the details to you.
Change of bus:
Once we left by bus, then we are turned to the station and changed bus... Perhaps what it would be a good idea to check the front bus??
Alternative:
I heard about the spoken Brewster company in the Canadian West, I will try it if I come back. And if this company is not available where you go, I advice to highly take something other than Greyhound. Since you have to pay a little expensive.
Positive points: professional and friendly staff. The problem is quite from the organisation.
