Daytona International Speedway hosts eight weekends a year of motorized racing
Known as the world's largest racetrack, Daytona International Speedway hosts eight weekends a year of motorized racing, including NASCAR stock cars, sports cars, motorcycles and go-karts. Every February, Daytona is THE place to be for racing fans. It's a great show in a grandiose site, especially since it has been enlarged and made even more comfortable for the spectators after long works. So it got a facelift in 2016 after $400 million of work! The festivities begin with the Rolex 24, the only endurance car race held in the northern United States. The following weekend is the Bush Pole Qualifying to determine who will compete in the Daytona 500, Bush Clash and ARCA 200. The action continues with the Gatorade 125-Mile Qualifying Race for the International Race of Champions, the Discount Auto Parts 2, the Gargoyles 300 and finally the World's Greatest Race, the Daytona 500. To visit the circuit, a one-hour guided tour is mandatory. These allow you to discover the backstage of this emblematic place: you embark on a train with wheels led by a guide who presents you the circuit; you stop at the various most important places, with explanations. It's exciting, even if you're not a racing fan!

La visite comprend celle du circuit, des stands, de la salle de presse, le podium, les gradins et le musée. Dommage qu'il y est en plus des arrêts, les poses photos des photographes du circuit...
