Art museum featuring international exhibitions and an American collection of artists from the European CoBrA movement
This huge art museum founded in 1958 belongs to Nova Southeastern University (hence its name, NSU Art Museum). Every year, it hosts the most important international exhibitions. We have seen works by Dali or sculptures by Duane Hanson. More than 7,500 works are on view year-round, including the largest American collection of artists from the European CoBrA movement (an acronym for Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam). The museum also features modern works by Cuban and Latin American artists, including Frieda Kahlo.
