A charming small property in the Tahitian style, surrounded by tropical greenery and exotic birds. Very clean and comfortable, the rooms of the motel offer a simple comfort but the decoration is rather good taste like that of the apartments. The studios and suites all have a small kitchen with a daily need. You will not find a restaurant or staff on-site, but Jacky, the retired boss, is available to meet all your needs, lend bikes or provide you with the best store for fishing rods. Swimming pool.

I'd give 10 stars for location if I could. Rooms very clean. Staff were awesome.

I can't say enough positives about this resort. It's different in all the right ways. Check in was great. Made to feel welcomed instantly. Room was ready ahead of time. Room was fantastic! Big with 2 comfy beds and a kitchen with fridge and microwave. The bathroom had a separate sink area which was nice. We were in a 2nd floor room which had a nice view of the water. Also has a front porch/deck with several chairs.
The pool was delightful and each time we went we had it to ourselves. The ocean is right there. A ladder gives you access to the reef to explore. We saw stingrays, fish, crabs. You can rent a kayak for $20 and have use of it all day. We saw turtles, rays, all kinds of cool birds and fish. The service here is outstanding. There is an excellent homemade ice cream place nearby. The Mexican place wasn't good but super convenient. Ragged Edge feels like a secret. The prices for what you get is phenomenal.

The Ragged Edge has an incredible location right on the water. They have a wonderful pool along with kayaks for guest use. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in had been updated but the furniture could use some updating also. But the location and beauty outweighed the furniture.

Highly recommend. I’m pretty picky, and was a little skeptical. Loved this place! Great location and property - room was clean, beds comfy. I felt very safe there. Other guests were friendly!

The staff was great from the moment I called about possibly staying there for 3 days until we were leaving, thank you all! Room was huge with a big kitchen. Everything was super clean and updated. We arrived via boat, the channel in was well marked, the docks were new and very nice. The location is a quick Uber ride away from all sorts of great food and a Publix is close by. Alligator Reef is close by as well. What a great place to stay in Islamorada!
