Underwater site with fish, remains of 21 sunken Spanish galleons, popular with divers and snorkelers
This underwater site concentrates the remains of 21 Spanish galleons sunk at a depth of six meters in 1733, approximately two kilometers from Indian Key. They are now home to many species of fish. Time has done its work, but the reserve remains an interesting site and very popular with divers and snorkelers. There is no hidden treasure to be found , so don't try to stir up the bottom, it would be a waste...
