Beachfront resort offering sophisticated rooms in shades of blue and white on Marathon Key.

This recent resort located on the sea front is a real bubble of calm and charm. The sophisticated decoration of the rooms, in shades of blue and white, is a favorite. You can enjoy Polynesian specialties at the Mahina restaurant, unless you prefer to pack a picnic lunch at the Isla Bella Marketplace. The resort also offers many activities at no extra charge: cycling, yoga classes, miniature golf, several pools... There's even a private beach. The perfect place to relax and unwind in an idyllic setting.

Great place for kids and families. The rooms are spectacular. It could use more food options and activities (like tennis).

It is hard to believe that the snarky front desk made so many mistakes that they made this beautiful property seem tense and uncaring. They just didn’t care. It took 4 hours to get a chair that was supposed to come with the room. The front desk said I ordered a bed($1000 per night) and not a chair. There was no where to sit in the room other than the bed. The thermostats was set on 71 and would not go lower. They did adjust that, but I had to wait for the man and deal with the ordeal. Not what I had thought of to do for vacation time. There were dead bugs in the bed when I pulled back the sheets. They looked us out of our room not once, but twice. No apology. They said” well, we didn’t do it on purpose”, but no mention that they were sorry that we were melting in the Florida heat/humidity outside of a room that we paid $1,000 a night for. It is not that much fun to wait outside while the bellmen brings a key that doesn’t work, He never returned with a working key. The day that we left, rise and shine and a cold, impersonal text from the front desk. We got a text at 7:40 am saying the set our final bill to our email, which started the morning off feeling like we were being pushed out.My tax accountant has sent me more personal texts than this text I received from the front desk. Basically, we already charged your card a bunch of money, now pack your bags and skeedaddle.
The service at the restaurant was uncaring and we had to beg for service. Especially the breakfast the last day we were there. our The front desk constantly trying to sell us other services by text, which was annoying while we were trying to relax, but when we texted them when we got locked out twice, or trying to request a place to sit in our room, no response to our texts for help. Text communication: It was a one way texting spam machine, all for their benefit, not ours. Thinking back, I should have blocked them. The phone in the room was not working. So I had to call in on the general line and was put on hold each time. All in all, I counted 7 hours of my vacation time trying to get a chair, and waiting to be let back in my room after they locked me out. Save your money and stay at the Islander in Marathon where they care, answer texts, don’t lock you out, have working phones, and you can set your temperature where you want it.

It was an absolute joy to be guests at Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL! From the lovely natural scenery right outside our back deck to the beautiful scenery created by the designers, architects, and craftsmen, we loved it all! The all-white buildings, expanses of sand and towering palm trees created the ambience of an island paradise. But on top of that, the service at breakfast and dinner as well as the attentiveness of all who answered questions and directed us to activities was also top-notch! It was more than just a lovely setting. Numerous pools awaited us as well as a sushi bar, evening drinks around the fire pits, and sundown over well-kept, beautifully designed beachfront areas. Thanks, too, to Kim Thompson, the DOM who manages to make each guest feel special in this island paradise. My husband and I would love a return visit!

My husband surprised me with a nice little getaway and the place is beautiful. There’s quite a bit of walking and it’s scenic throughout. The food at the restaurants were amazing in our opinion and very very accommodating due to food allergies. I’d go back again.

I wanted to love this place so bad as my husband and I went for my birthday but honestly from the beginning to end didn't have the best experience. When we arrived we booked an "ocean view" and spent extra. Our room was directly in front of a kids pool and all we could hear was screaming in the morning. Wasn't the best way to start the trip and when we approached the front desk they just was like yea that's the room. Normally I don't write negative reviews but what really got me was that I left my pillow behind. We called the hotel maybe 10 minutes after leaving and said they'd do check. We turned around right away and when we got there they said the pillow wasn't there. My husband asked security to take him to the room and when they did guess what was right there, my pillow! I don't understand why they didn't just check in the first place, but really wasn't impressed with this place especially the ocean front rooms. They are pool front rooms with the ocean behind.
