KEY DEER NATIONAL REFUGE
A park that is a refuge for endangered miniature deer, the Watson Trail, a natural habitat for alligators to visit
This park is the refuge of about 300 miniature deer whose species is threatened. To observe them, it is better to come at dawn or dusk. But if you drive slowly in the daytime and keep your eyes open, you have every chance to see some of them on the roadside. You will probably be able to take some very nice pictures of these very cute little animals. Another point of interest is the Watson Trail, which is one mile long and begins with a body of water (Blue Hole), the natural habitat of alligators. A visit not to be missed.
