Modern and comfortable waterfront campground with tent sites and tiny houses for two people

A campsite at the water's edge with all the modern comforts in the middle of palm and banana trees. It offers pitches for tents, motor homes and also tiny houses for two people. You will enjoy a swimming pool, barbecues and practical amenities such as a laundry. Bicycle and kayak rentals are available, as well as on-site activities. Two stores are available for convenience shopping, and a bus will take you to the center of town (stop 3 min away).

Great tent spots on the water.

We stayed for 4 nights the campground was nice spots close together, the bathrooms and showers were very clean. Laundry facilities clean and well kept. About 4.5 miles from Duval street downtown. Many Ubers, taxis, golf cart rentals. I would have rated it a 5 star however one pool for the amount of people. Very crowded. We had a great time exploring the keys!

The office staff is awesome, we've stayed here 2 years for only a month, jan/feb, we're hoping to make it longer in the future. They plan lots of activities, and keep a super Clean campground. Boyds really cares about All the campers. We have made friends here that will last a lifetime. THANK YOU BOYDS!!

Honest review time, i would shell out the extra cash next time to stay in a motel nearby. Was told on the phone i couldn't bring my jeep renegade and stay at a primitive campsite so we came in a toyota corolla making fitting everything we needed not possible. We get to the campsite and see plenty of suvs parked in the primitive site areas. The bathrooms were cleaned well, never smelled bad and the showers were nice. Only complaint in the doors on the stalls were not tall enough and i had a few people peer over the top of the door at me while i was using the stall. Same issue with some of the shower areas. Tent site was just big enough to fit a small suv and a 4 person tent. The site has a picnic table and a charcoal grill. The pathway is nicely lit at night so you dont need a bunch of flashlights or anything. We ended up using a small led lantern just at out site. There is a laundry facility on site which worked fine, the pool is great and is heated! The pool area has alot of lounge chairs and some tables. Theres also a play room with a giant connect 4, pool table, and foozball table. The staff was friendly. The campground is kind of a maze and you will probably get lost a few times. Campground is about a 15 minute drive to downtown key west, very reasonable. The 2 biggest things to note when staying here, you are next to an international airport so expect alot of very loud take offs and landings. The planes didnt seem to come in too late though so sleeping was fine with that but it will wake you up bright and early for sure. If the planes dont wake you up, the few dozen roosters that lives here and freely walk around will. These stupid birds were crowing right on schedule with that rising sun, all throughout the day, and wel into the night. Latest crowing i heard was right outside my tent around 2:30am. That being said, key west was awesome, i definitley recommend a snorkeling trip, that was the highlight of the adventure. Also, there is no swimming or fishing here, didnt see many actual swimming areas in key west though, its more bars and resturants.
