The most popular event in the Keys, the counterpart of Mardi Gras where the whole of Key West is celebrating... in costume!

This is the most important holiday in the Key West calendar. Most of the hotels are already booked and prices are skyrocketing. It's the big rival to Mardi Gras: the old town is in permanent celebration, with street musicians, costume contests, parades... One of the highlights is the Bud Light Fantasy Fest Parade that marches down Duval Street. You can also attend the Masquerade March, a costume parade that takes place in downtown Key West. Guest houses even open their doors to participants to offer free drinks!
