MUSEUM OF ART & HISTORY AT THE CUSTOM HOUSE
Museum in a former federal building tracing the history of Key West through the city's bicentennial, the Overseas Railway
Just steps away from Mallory Square, this museum located in a former federal building will tell you the history of Key West. The first floor is currently dedicated to the bicentennial of the city (1822-2022) whose evolution is fascinating. On the second floor, you will discover a room dedicated to the Overseas Railway, the incredible railroad line built by Henry Flagler that linked the Keys to Florida, but also an exhibition highlighting the work of painter Tennessee Williams.
