The activity of Key West is centered around Mallory Square, near the port. The aquarium, the old naval base and the Little White House, Truman's summer residence, are concentrated there, as well as Duval Street, with its stores, art galleries, restaurants and countless bars. At sunset, the whole city flocks to Mallory Square to watch the show. Look out for the famous green ray, which appears at the very last moment, when the sun tilts into the sea. Once this last ray is gone, the crowd applauds..

C’est aussi le spot pour le coucher de soleil.
Et finalement, la douche froide, la place est bondée, il faut jouer des coudes pour se glisser au milieu du monde. Par miracle, nous avons pu obtenir une "bonne" place. Et alors que le soleil s'approchait de l'horizon, des bateaux se sont retrouvés dans notre champs de vision, gâchant le spectacle.
Le reste des animations est sympathique et l'ambiance de Key West est toujours aussi incroyable !
Mais Mallory Square, nous t'avons vite oublié.
