MAISON DÉPARTEMENTALE DES PERSONNES HANDICAPÉES DE MAYOTTE (MDPH)
Created by the Law for Equal Rights and Opportunities, Participation and Citizenship of Persons with Disabilities of 11 February 2005, the Departmental Houses for Persons with Disabilities (MDPH) are responsible for the reception and accompaniment of persons with disabilities and their relatives. Since June 2016, a constitutive agreement has been signed by the Council, the Prefecture, the vice-faculty, the Social Security Fund and the Regional Health Agency (ARS). It allows for the extension of rights and better care for disability. Human aid (home assistance) and technical assistance (medical bed, wheelchair), development aid (housing, vehicle) and animal aid are now operational in Mayotte!
