The Carrefour (ex-Jumbo) is a modern hypermarket as we know it in mainland France. Many people from mainland France come here to shop, and most of the products sold here are imported. This allows us to rediscover certain points of reference. In short, it's just like in mainland France, with a few changes in the frozen food section to appeal to the Mahorais, who still buy a lot in bulk and frozen foods. Prices, on the other hand, are higher here than on Reunion Island or in mainland France. Especially if you're looking for good cheese, charcuterie and wine! The same prices as in Paris.
