The festival Maoré Jazz takes place this year from 19 to 26 May. Organised by the Volleyball Club of M'tsapéré and Austral Organization, in collaboration with the Departmental Committee on Tourism and the General Council. Previous editions have marked minds with the programme: Drink Jazz At Cousin (tradition); Du jazz with more than 100 voices of children mixed with the sounds of traditional jazz musicians; a cabaret cabaret at Alpa Joe cinema and live on the old market square of Mamoudzou; the presence of Mtoro Chamou, who has already been part of Higelin, between pop, reggae and ragga; Saxophonist Raphaël Dumont first prize at the jazz competition in To in 2007; Trio Drouard-Dumont-Postel; The size of Régis Gizavo and his accordion, which played with I Muvrini, Cesaria Evora or Mano Solo!
