To the east of the town, heading towards Dembéni, you can go for a walk on the Mahabou peak, which has been converted into a fitness trail and botanical discovery area. At the foot of the peak, the mangrove opens onto a beautiful garden, a welcome break from the city. From the belvedere, there's a beautiful view over Petite-Terre. At the start of the climb, on the left, you can see the tomb of Adriantsouly, the last sultan of Mayotte. It is now a sacred place, or ziara, for all Mahorais. Ideal for a jog at the end of the day.
