7 kilometers from Mamoudzou. La Palmeraie, opened in 2006, is above the restaurant La Guinguette, now closed; anyway there is a sign. The place is green in the heart of large trees and coconut palms that are regularly visited by makis. The complex held by François offers several rental options according to the needs and budget of each one. You are warned, it is not the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi but rather a simple and relaxed address with DTT television, wifi and swimming pool. Upstairs, the apartment is pleasant, with a private terrace at the back, equipped kitchen, fridge and microwave. This accommodation is separated from the studio by a spacious outdoor but covered lounge-terrace. The house has three bedrooms with fridge and microwave, they are air-conditioned and they also have an individual entrance and a bathroom with WC shared by all three bedrooms. Ideal for 6 or even 9 people with three small extra beds. They overlook the tiled terrace with swimming pool (free access for Palmeraie guests). A space to hang laundry and a more spacious back with a wood-fired barbecue and a gas cooker, and the possibility of washing laundry in large sinks.
